Reviews

Not good Scale and detail is very poor, pretty worthless even after paid download. Not recommended.

Hidden fee Handy for quick reference - would be 5 stars if only indicated payment required to get the road atlas, not just the free bsse map!

Map is basic would have had More Stars if it could be sent to the SD Card almost 300MB needs to be on the SD card

Not great I have seen more detailed versions that are free.

navigation? can I use this App to search for an os grid reference. and navigate to it via road. as I enjoy walking but most walking guides give a start oint as an os grid reference.

The best road atlas on google play Easy to use, allows you search and measure distance. Perfect as replacement for Road Atlas Britain. Excellent work.

crashes app. gazateer crashes app when about to download...pity really as it (the app)shows promise. Stars changed to 5 as with search its a very good app.

Nice app... Same level of details as the paper copy. Working offline and great way to find alternative routes...

Pat the Cabbie A waste of money. I thought ordance survey maps showed small details e.g.country lanes, bridle paths, foot paths etc. Lacks all these and more.

Thank you very much for this awesome app It is very easy, handy and simple to use with little space

I am a pelegrim and this is the best help in my way

Nice apps so accept the anyone

Very useful app to get around

For a basic map it is fine, but There is more information about using the app in Google play than in the app itself, it is messy to use, what is the point of a search option that needs a download to work the first time? Most people will download the app to use offline only to find that it needs another download to use the search option. Then if you want more details it's another download, a paid one at that, no thanks, uninstalling as I can get more information on paper cheaper...

I didnt like this See the other reviews

Offline road map This offers the OS road map for the UK and even the free low-detail version is perfectly good for planning a route on the major roads and motorways. It does not claim to show full details like you get on the OS landranger or explorer maps. If I decide it's worth paying for the more detailed road maps I will return to update this review at a later date. But for now it's perfect for what I intend to use it for.

Resolution so low it forces you to buy the update. Hence this is a paid for app pretending to be free.

Very useful app to get around

The standard app is totally useless and you immediately get the option to upgrade the map for £2.10. So i did just that, only to find the maps still lack soo much detail. I mean it does not show any street on my estate. I'm just a dot in the middle of it. Motorways and A roads are as detailed as it gets. Totally useless, and the in-app purchase is not refundable, at least i was only ripped of for a couple of pounds.

Well thought out, easy to use. Works with GPS and shows your position on the map and is zoomable, indexed and searchable. I purchased the higher resolution map which shows most places but I would gladly pay double for an extra level of detail/zoom.

When it said zoom it is no better than using normal zoom. The legend is not zoomable. The distances are not easy to work out.

No a UK road map. England Scotland and wales only GB map not UK as stated.
